Dr. Angela E. Mulrooney, DMD is noted for helping dental patients finally get what they’ve been wanting for years yet didn’t know exactly how to achieve. Like you, these patients have always wanted that beautiful smile, but didn’t have a dentist that they could really communicate with. Dr. Angela E. Mulrooney, DMD will lead you step by step and explain your options of what can be done with your teeth.
Dr. Angela E. Mulrooney, DMD also has particular experience in what many dentists find challenging – the treatment of the fearful patient. Many people are simply very uncomfortable with anything related to dentists or dentisty – even to the point of delaying or avoiding medically needed treatment of their teeth and gums.
However, for patients in the Calgary area, our dental office successfully treats dental phobic patients through techniques that help to relax the patient and alleviate patient fears.
At our dental office, Dr. Angela E. Mulrooney, DMD and all of the staff truly believe that “life is better with great teeth” and that you deserve a healthy mouth and a beautiful smile. Even if you don’t like dentists or dental treatments, we can make sure that you’re glad you found our dental practice.
As Dr. Angela E. Mulrooney, DMD says,
Optimal care for my patients can only be achieved through personal service, continual education and compassion on the part of myself and my dental practice. We put our patients before all else.

As an adopted Calgarian, I love being so close to such majestic mountains! I came to the city for love and have gained great friends and a fabulous work place! Holding a Bachelor of the Arts degree from George Mason University, I am excited to use my communication skills (and my new Certificate for Medical Terminology May 2012!) in such an friendly and inviting environment. A perpetual student, I am thoroughly enjoying learning about the technology and applications of dentistry. It’s so exciting being in a work environment that not only exposes me to new knowledge, but encourages the use of it to help others in such a caring and warm environment.
Outside of work, my husband and I enjoy taking our Bouviers, Fionn and Loki, to the mountains for camping, hiking, biking, snow shoeing and cross country skiing adventures.
I am a native Calgarian and love this city. After I completing my degree in Biological Sciences from University of Alberta in 2006, I went on to pursue Dental Hygiene at the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries, graduating with Honors in 2009. I enjoy learning about the latest products and technologies that the dental world has to offer through continuing education allowing me to enhance my knowledge and clinical skills. I enjoy working in an environment where each individual is treated with quality, compassion and comprehensive patient care. I am excited to be part of Dr. Mulrooney’s team because I work with great women and provide advanced dental care to our wonderful patients. I also love helping them create a beautiful smile.
In my downtime, I enjoy traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.
I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and am excited to be developing my career here. I graduated from KDM Dental College in 2010. My favorite part of my career is helping people become healthy and happy through having a great smile. I also enjoy seeing patients before and after treatment, and hearing how we have helped the feel more confident and be able to smile again.
I am excited to be a part of the team because I enjoy learning and doing new things. We are always taking courses, learning new techniques, and always have the latest and greatest technology.
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors and as close to the mountains as I can get, whether that be snowboarding in the winter or camping with friends and family in the summer.
About the Dental Office of Dr. Angela E. Mulrooney, DMD
In addition to dental equipment, our office is a “Green Dental Office” – both literally in decor and in terms of environmental impact!
Yes, we are a green facility that reduces our impact on the environment!
We reduce our waste through use of heat sterilizable items, CEREC digital impressions and digital imaging radiographs. We also reduce energy consumption, radiation and chemicals through digital rather than film imaging.
The dental office uses less paper through going chart-less and using scanning, e-mail, and electronically submitted form technology.
We reduce our use of plastic through high level disinfection of technology that tolerates it. We only use plastic barriers on reusable technology that cannot be disinfected this way, such as our radiology sensors.
